1. About Us

As part of our activities, medcitizen.org was developed under the initiative "Develop a citizen-based reporting program for marine conservation," within the project titled "Conducting an evidence-based Non-State Actors Campaign on Marine Protected Areas Network." This project is funded by the European Commission, in partnership with the Lebanese Environment Forum, the Marine and Coastal Resources Program at the Institute of the Environment at the University of Balamand (MCR-IOE-UOB). Through this initiative, a protocol with clear criteria was created to enable citizens to monitor trends in the occurrence, distribution, and status of native and invasive marine species.
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data collected through LEF's online and offline activities, including through our website, email communications, events, campaigns, and related projects such as medcitizen.org
